A CompTIA voucher code is the product. It is a prepaid code that covers your exam fee when you book with Pearson VUE. It is not a discount code, and there is no coupon field at our checkout: the price you see is already the partner price.
A standard CompTIA voucher is single-use. It is consumed the moment you sit the exam, pass or fail, so a failed attempt means buying another voucher. Retake Assurance is the hedge: one voucher that covers one retake of the same exam version if the first attempt does not pass, used within the voucher's 12 months and before CompTIA retires that exam version.
CompTIA has no waiting period before a second attempt; a 14-day wait applies only before a third or later attempt, counted from your last attempt. There is no waiting period imposed by us. The retake is included in the Retake Assurance price, and you book it with the same voucher code. If you pass first time, the retake is simply not used.

For most candidates Security+ is the right first voucher to buy. If you already hold Security+ and you are moving into analyst or SOC work, CySA+ is the next step. For penetration testing it is PenTest+, and Network+ comes first only if your networking is weak.
